MULTIPLE LOCATIONS IN LOUISVILLE, KY
B.YOU is an innovative, Louisville-based fitness studio and boutique offering the latest in group fitness classes and apparel that is seeking a full-time Studio Manager to oversee the operations, customer service, and sales of its two area locations.
Job Title: Studio Manager
Compensation and Benefits: $28k per year, Commission Structure, Paid Vacation Time {after 12 months of service}, $200 Annual Continued Education Credit, Free Fitness Classes
Responsibilities:
- Manage, hire, train and develop Client Consultants
- Train Inspire-ers and other front desk employees on reception desk basics.
- Maintain and continue development of necessary training materials
- Manage and maintain all studio operations
- Managing all aspects of administrative duties, facility maintenance, logistics, equipment, supplies and storage
- Work reception desk and manage customer service and communication
- Manage schedules of all Client Consultants and Inspire-ers; coordinate appointments and private groups/lessons
- Manage retail boutique presentation, sales, inventory and commissions
- Manage client accounts; run and analyze weekly, monthly and annual trend reports
- Perform payroll functions and processes
- Develop and maintain client base through front-end sales and renewals
- Achieve revenue and performance goals set for the studio
- Prepare and distribute client and employee communications
- Work as a liaison among owners and Inspire-ers
- Support the owners in daily operations and planning
- Support the owners in marketing, outreach and referral programs
- Conduct all activities in keeping with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 5 years of professional work experience
- Leadership experience required; prior management and retail experience strongly preferred; training in these areas preferred
- Must have a passion for people and strong leadership skills
- Must be attentive, outgoing, positive, friendly and engaging
- Must have sales experience, preferably in the health/fitness area and/or retail sales experience
- Must be willing to enthusiastically sell and close deals
- Must be a self-starter, with a proven track record of high performance
- Must have outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work as a team with Inspire-ers and manage client consultants
- Must be flexible and willing work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Must be comfortable in a MAC environment and a complex scheduling software program (Mindbody)
- Must be comfortable using computers programs such as Word, Powerpoint, Excel
- Must be versed in using Social Media
- Must have passion and understanding of health, fitness and nutrition
- High School Diploma is required; Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred
